For convenience, the parties are being referred to by their original positions in the suit, i.e., the appellants in RSA No.2013 of 2019 as defendant Nos. 1 & 3, respectively, appellant in RSA No.3711 of 2018 as defendant No. 2, respondent No. 1 as plaintiff in both appeals, and respondents No. 4, 6 & 7 in RSA No.2013 of 2019 as defendants No. 5, 7 & 8, respectively. 2. The plaintiff filed suit for specific performance of an agreement to sell dated 12.04.2002 executed by defendant No.1 Amanpreet Kaur in favour of the plaintiff. Two separate appeals were filed by two different sets of defendants. Both the appeals stand dismissed. The afore-captioned two regular second appeals have been preferred by two different sets of defendants, i.e., RSA No.2013 of 2019 is at the behest of defendant Nos. 1 & 3, i.e., the original vendor and her husband, and RSA No.3711 of 2018 is at the behest of defendant No. 2, i.e., the subsequent purchaser. 3.
