Present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short – ‘the BNSS’), for quashing of impugned order dated 23.04.2026 (Annexure P-4) passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar, in case bearing FIR No.127 dated 01.11.2022, registered under Section 379-B read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, at Police Station Division No.3, Jalandhar, whereby bail of the petitioner has been cancelled and bail bonds and surety bonds were forfeited to the State. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that owing to an incorrect noting of the date, the petitioner was under the impression that the case was fixed for 03.05.2026 and, consequently, failed to appear before the learned trial Court on 23.04.2026, pursuant to which non-bailable w
