The present petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS for quashing of order dated 06.05.2026 passed by the learned Judge, Special Court, Ferozepur, vide which the bail of the petitioner stands cancelled and his bail/surety bonds have been forfeited. 2. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner was granted regular bail vide order dated 21.08.2024, whereafter, he continued to appear regularly before the trial Court but for 10.03.2026 and 06.05.2026, which was due to miscommunication between him and his learned counsel having noted down the wrong date of hearing, leading to cancellation of his bail and forfeiture of bail/surety bonds. His non-appearance was neither intentional nor deliberate but due to the aforesaid bona fide reason.
