Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.87 dated 12.03.2025 registered under Sections 21(a), 61 and 85 of NDPS Act (Section 21(a) deleted and Section 21(b) and 27(a) of NDPS Act added later on) at Police Station City Faridkot, District Faridkot. 2. Brief facts of the present case are that, as per the prosecution, on 12.03.2025, while the police party was on patrolling duty, they noticed the petitioner carrying a black polythene bag. On seeing the police party, the petitioner allegedly entered a house and fled by scaling the wall. Upon searching the house, a woman was found in possession of the said black polythene, from which 09 grams and 06 milligrams of heroin along with alleged drug money amountin
