The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated 12.01.2026 (Annexure P-6) passed by respondent No.4, whereby the claim of the petitioners for grant of the pay scale of Rs.5000-8100 w.e.f. 01.01.1996, instead of Rs.4400-7000, has been wrongly, arbitrarily and illegally rejected.
