(ORAL) The present revision petition has been preferred under Article 227 of Constitution of India by petitioner/defendant being aggrieved by closure of his defence evidence vide impugned order dated 17.04.2026 (Annexure P-3), passed by learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), Ludhiana. 2. Admittedly, on 04.09.2025, respondent/plaintiff had closed his evidence in affirmative and thereafter, matter was fixed for the first time for defence evidence on 17.09.2025. Thereafter, matter remained pending for defence evidence on 01.10.2025, 15.10.2025, 04.11.2025, 11.11.2025, 10.12.2025, 02.01.2026, 16.01.2026, 27.01.2026, 05.02.2026, 09.03.2026, 14.03.2026, 03.04.2026 and 17.04.2026. Only on two dates, matter was kept pending for compromise and on joint request, matter was adjourned on 01.10.2025 and 15.10.2025.
