The present petition has been filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeking anticipatory bail for the petitioner in FIR No.0255 dated 05.11.2025, under Section 21(c) of NDPS Act, 1985 (Section 29 of the Act added later on) registered at Police Station Khalra, District Tarn Taran. 2. On 04.05.2026, this Court had passed the following order:- “Learned counsel submits that name of the petitioner surfaced based on the disclosure statement of co-accused Sukhman Singh, Gurjeet Singh and Sanyam Singh, from whom the alleged contraband in question was recovered. There is no evidence to connect to petitioner with them but for the aforesaid, even as per the status report dated 02.05.2026 filed by way of affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarters, Tarn Taran, in pursuance of direction given by this Court.
