(ORAL) Present petition is the second attempt filed under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 seeking grant of regular bail to the petitioner, in case bearing FIR No.238 dated 25.10.2025, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 308(2), 351(2) and 61(2) of the BNS, 2023, at Police Station Division No.6, District Ludhiana. 2. The gravamen of the FIR in question is that on 22-09-2025, the complainant, namely, Suraaj Mohammad, received a WhatsApp call from an unknown person who asked whether he worked in money exchange. Upon confirmation, the caller demanded ₹5 lakh and threatened harm to the complainant and his family if the money was not paid.
