(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the prayer of the petitioner in reference to the pending application for renewal of passport dated 01.03.2026 (Annexure P- 6) whereupon the appointment date was 13.04.2025 (Annexure P-7) for issuing Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) and permission to travel abroad, is kept pending. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there are certain inadvertent errors in the instant petition, therefore, he may be permitted to withdraw the same with liberty to file fresh one with better particulars on the same cause of action. 3.
