The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (erstwhile Section 438 Cr.P.C.) in FIR No. 612 dated 25.12.2025, registered under Sections 316(2), 318(4), 336(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2) and 61(2) of BNS, 2023 at Police Station Zirakpur, District S.A.S. Nagar, Punjab. 2. The case of the prosecution is that the complainant had mortgaged his Fortuner vehicle with co-accused Shiv Kumar for raising a loan amount. It is alleged that thereafter, in connivance with the present petitioner and other co-accused, the said vehicle was dishonestly sold to a third party. The petitioner is specifically alleged to have facilitated the preparation of forged and fabricated documents and to have got the vehicle fraudulently registered at Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh, and thereafter transferred the same
