The instant writ petition has been preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter alia, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus declaring that the acquisition proceedings, initiated vide notification dated 26.02.2009 issued under Section 4 and notification dated 19.02.2010 issued under Section 6 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, in respect of the land in question, namely Khata No. 167, Khasra No. 996, measuring 0.7040 hectares, situated in Village Parasauli, Pargana Dankaur, Tehsil Sadar, District Gautam Buddh Nagar, has been lapsed under Sect
