The petitioner by means of the present writ petition has prayed for the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned ex-parte order dated 27.11.1982 passed by respondent No. 4 (Annexure No.4 to this writ petition). (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to return the surplus land 3132.08 Sq. Mt. situated at Village Chak Pure Miyan Khas, Pargana and Tehsil Karchhana, District Prayagraj to the petitioners. 3. The petitioners are descendants of one, Pohal, the original land holder amongst others of land comprised in Gata No. 65 in Village Chak Pure Miyan Khurd and Gata No. 85 in Village Rahi Ta Pawri.
