Heard Sri Vijay Pal, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri Suresh Babu, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. 2. By means of the present writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in their peaceful marital life and also for a direction to provide protection. 3. Pursuant to earlier order of this Court dated 17.0.2026, learned Standing Counsel has produced instructions, which are taken on record. 4. Based on instructions, learned Standing Counsel stated that this is first marriage of both the petitioners. The inquiry officer has recorded statements of several villagers including the father of the petitioner no.2 an all of them stated that this is the first marriage of the petitioner no.2. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are major and have solemnized their marriage on 03.02.2026
