By means of the present writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to interfere in their peaceful marital life and also for a direction to provide protection. 3. Pursuant to earlier order dated 16.02.2026, learned Standing Counsel has produced instructions which are taken on record. Based on instructions, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that no Institution for performing Nikah situates at Krishna Lodge, High Court, Prayagraj. However, it is submitted that enquiry officer did not verify this fact as to whether Nikah was performed or not between the parties. He did not record statements of witnesses as well as Qazi.
