The instant writ petition has been filed inter alia for the following relief : "i. to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.3-Additional Collector (Land Acquisition), Kanpur Nagar to release amount of compensation amounting to Rs.01,03,41,822/- alongwith interest @ 15% to petitioner with regard to acquisition of land of Arazi No.236 (area 0.4080 Hectare), 273 (area 0.4270 Hectare), 285 (area 0.1430 Hectare) & 1/2 of 286 (area 0.2250 Hectare) situate in Village Madararay Guman, Pargana Bilhaur, District Kanpur, which are already acquired for the purpose of NTPC as the aforesaid amount is illegally kept with the respondent No.3-Additional Collector (Land Acquisition), Kanpur
