The instant writ petition has been filed for the following relief:- "Issue a writ, order or direction in nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondent authorities to cancel the consolidation proceeding of the consolidation unit in village Saraiya, Pargana- Saremu, Tehsil Sadar, District Jaunpur and further direct to initiate fresh consolidation proceeding in the said consolidation unit as per purview of the U.P. C.H. Act and Rules framed thereunder." 3.
