Heard Sri Bindeshwari Prasad, learned counsel for the writ petitioner and Sri Jitendra Prasad, learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The solitary claim in the present writ petition is for a direction to the second respondent, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Saharanpur to decide the appeal under Rule 20(1)(a) under U.P. Subordinate Police Officers (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1991 preferred on 06.12.2025. 3. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to the same. 4. Considering the submissions so made across the bar, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondents to decide the appeal within a period of two months from today.
