The case of the writ petitioner is that she was working on the post of Head Constable, was transferred from Bareilly to Shahajahanpur on 27.04.2025, she was allotted quarter in Bareilly itself. The writ petitioner stakes her claim to retain the said quarter due to the ongoing study of her children in Bareilly till 31.03.2026. 3. Prayer in the present petition is for a direction to the respondents to consider the claim. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that whatever might be a police personnel cannot retain the official accommodation on being transferred. He submits that the claim of the writ petitioner needs adjudication at the first instance by the second respondent. 5.
