The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No. 408/2016 dated 21.09.2016, registered at Police Station Vivek Vihar, for offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’), including all consequential proceedings arising therefrom. The charge sheet has been filed in the present case. 2. It is averred that the marriage between Respondent No. 2 and the Petitioner No.1 was solemnized on 24.05.2010, as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. One child was born out of the said wedlock.
