This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents to make fresh appointments of Chairman and Members of Child Welfare Committee ('C.W.C.') and Members of Juvenile Justice Board ('J.J.B.') within stipulated period in the State. 2. Submissions have been made that the appointments to the C.W.C. and J.J.B. were made by notifications dated 23.07.2021 and the tenure of the said Members have since expired, however, no fresh appointments have been made and therefore, the respondents be directed to make fresh appointments. 3.
