This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner though named a foundation essentially a company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013, seeking a direction to the respondents to restore the land in question, i.e. Arazi No. 1255/72 situated at Village Aniruddhava, Tappa Mainpur, Pargana Sindhua Jobna, Tehsil Kasia, District Kushinagar in the name of Lord Buddha as recorded in the earlier revenue records and a direction to the respondent authorities to permit the petitioner-Company for taking care of the property and performing the religious and cultural activities being a follower and monk of Buddha Religion. 2.
