This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to respondents no. 3 and 5 from granting permission to hold Monday and Thursday cattle fare at Village Majhpurva, Gursahayganj, Kannauj. 2. A perusal of the petition indicates that except for filing copies of the representations made by the petitioner/other villagers, nothing more has been produced to substantiate the allegations made in the petition/representations. 3. Filing of petition purportedly in public interest based on the representations made without substantiating the allegations before the Court, cannot be countenanced. 4.
