By the impugned judgment, the learned ASJ found the appellant guilty of the offences under Sections 376(3) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’) and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (‘POCSO Act’). By the impugned order on sentence, the learned ASJ sentenced the appellant to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 20 years and to pay a fine of ₹5,000/- and in default of payment of fine to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of 02 months. 3.
