This is an Appeal filed under Section 117A(2) of the Patents Act, 1970 (“Act”) seeking quashing and setting aside of order dated 21.06.2022 (“Impugned Order”) passed by the Assistant Controller of Patents and Designs (“Respondent / Controller”) under Section 15 of the Act refusing the Patent Application No. 201717010986 filed on 28.03.2017 titled as “VIDEO CODING DEVICE, VIDEO DECODING DEVICE, VIDEO 2. On 15.10.2014, the Appellant filed the Japan Patent Application No. 2014-204392 (“JP Application”). On 12.08.2015, the Appellant filed the Paris Cooperation Treaty Patent Application No. PCT/JP2015/004037 (“PCT Application”), which claimed pri
