Petitioners herein seek quashing of FIR No. 472/2021 dated 01.12.2021, registered at Police Station Lajpat Nagar, for commission of offences under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. The marriage between complainant (respondent No.2 herein) and petitioner No.1 was solemnized on 14.08.2019, as per Arya Samaj rites and customs. There is no child from such wedlock. 3. On account of matrimonial discord, a complaint was lodged by respondent No.2, which resulted into registration of the abovesaid FIR. 5. Charge-sheet has already been filed. 6. Fact, however, remains that both the parties have entered into settlement and terms of settlement have been reduced into writing on 10.01.2026. Copy of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has also been annexed. 7. Respondent no. 2 is also present in person and she is duly identified by he
