The case of the petitioner is that consequent to the acquisition proceedings so initiated in terms of Land Acquisition Act, 1984 on 27.08.1992, an award came to be passed. The claimant-petitioner on 22.05.2017 preferred proceedings under Section 18 of the Act for getting the matter referred to the Court along with an application under Section 5 of the Limitation Act.
