The appellant has approached this Court, assailing the judgment dated 15.07.2023 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-05, South- East District, Saket Courts Complex, New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as the „Trial Court‟) in Sessions Case No. 490/2019, titled 2. The appellant also challenges the order on sentence dated 19.10.2023, whereby the appellant has been sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for life and to pay a fine of Rs. 10,000/-, and in default of payment of fine, to undergo simple imprisonment for a further period of six months, for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the IPC.
