Petitioners herein seek quashing of FIR No. 858/2021 dated 30.11.2021, registered at police station Tilak Nagar for commission of offences under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. The marriage between complainant (respondent No.2 herein) and petitioner was solemnized on 27.09.2020, as per Sikh rites and customs. There is no issue from such wedlock. 3. However, on account of temperamental and irreconcilable differences, the parties started residing separately and on the basis of one complaint filed by respondent No.2 before the CAW Cell, the abovesaid FIR was registered. 4. Charge-sheet has been filed and even the Charges have been framed. 5. However, when the parties were referred to Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi, on 01.02.2025, they came to amicable resolution of Signature Not Verified Signed By:SONIA CRL.M.C. 1941/2026 1 THAPLIYAL Signing Date:19.03.2026 09:39:04 the matter and agreed to part ways in a graceful manner as would be apparent from Settlement Agreement dated 01.02.2025. 6.
