The instant appeal has been filed by the claimants for enhancement of compensation under Section 54 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 against the impugned judgment and award dated 06.04.1998 passed by the Xth Additional District Judge, Ghaziabad in L.A.R. No.206 of 1992 (Het Ram and others vs. State of U.P. & others), whereby for the land situated in Village Khora, Pargana Loni, Tehsil Dadri, District Ghaziabad (now District Gautam Buddh Nagar), a compensation @ Rs.106/- per square yard has been awarded to the land owners alongwith other consequential benefits admissible under the Land Acquisition Act,1894. 4.
