The instant appeal has been preferred under Section 23 of the Railway Claims Tribunal Act, 1987 against the judgment and order dated 14.09.2018 passed by the Railway Claims Tribunal, Lucknow Bench, Lucknow (hereinafter referred to as 'Tribunal') in Case No.OA/II/U/257/11, whereby compensation of Rs.8,00,000/- along with interest has been awarded in favour of the claimants-respondents. 3. The brief facts of the case are that on 22/23.06.2010, one Bhupendra was travelling from Lucknow to Rahimabad by the Lucknow–Saharanpur Up Passenger Train having a second class valid ticket.
