Petitioners herein seek quashing of FIR No. 61/2024 dated 09.02.2024, registered at Police Station Dwarka North, for commission of offences under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. The marriage between complainant (respondent No.2 herein) and petitioner No.1 was solemnized on 04.05.2022, as per Hindu rites and ceremonies. There is no child from such wedlock. 3. However, on account of temperamental differences, the parties started residing separately. 4. On account of matrimonial discord, a complaint was lodged by respondent No.2, which resulted into registration of the abovesaid FIR. 5. Charge-sheet has already been filed, which is also for commission of offence under Section 354 IPC, as there are some allegations in this regard against petitioner No.2 (father-in-law). The settlement took place when the matter was referred to the Counselling Cell, Family Courts, South-West District, Dwarka, Delhi.
