The petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in nature of writ of certiorari for quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 01.03.2026 in Case Crime No.113 of 2026, under Sections 109 (1), 351 (2), 352 of B.N.S. Police Station Civil Lines District Moradabad (Annexure No.1) to this writ petition. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to arrest the petitioners in pursuance of the impugned F.I.R. dated 01.03.2026 in Case Crime No.113 of 2026, under Sections 109 (1), 351 (2), 352 of B.N.S. Police Station Civil Lines District Moradabad." Briefly put the prosecution case set out in the F.I.R. is that the accused person had stabbed the victim with intent to cause death.
