The petitioner has sought for the following reliefs: "(i) Issue a writ order or direction in nature of writ of certiorari for quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 26.02.2026 in Case Crime No.0029 of 2026, under Sections 191 (2), 115(2), 351 (3), 352 of B.N.S. Police Station Industrial Area District Allahabad (Annexure No.1) to this writ petition. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to arrest the petitioner in pursuance of the impugned F.I.R. dated 26.02.2026 in Case Crime No.0029 of 2026, under Sections 191 (2), 115(2), 351 (3), 352 of B.N.S. Police Station Industrial Area District Allahabad." Briefly put the prosecution case set out in the F.I.R. is that the accused (petitioner) had abused and assaulted the victim with an iron rod.
