Heard learned counsel for the applicant and Ms Jaya Pandey, holding brief of Shri Digvijay Nath Dubey, learned counsel for the DRI, as well as perused the record. The accused-applicant seeks bail in Case Crime No. 16 of 2025 under Sections 8/20/23 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, Police Station DRI, District Lucknow. In the prosecution case, it is alleged that on 01.12.2025 at about 11:30 p.m., on the basis of secret information, the applicant along with the co-accused persons, who were arriving by Flight No. FD146 of Air Asia from Bangkok, were intercepted. Upon personal search of the present applicant, 4851 grams of ganja are alleged to have been recovered from his possession.
