List of cases has been revised and the case is being taken up in the revised call. 2. Heard learned counsel for the appellant and learned A.G.A for the State. 3. The present appeal under Section 374 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been preferred against the judgment and order dated 12.05.2005 passed by the Special Judge, SC/ST (P&A) Act, Sultanpur in Session Trial No. 75/1996 (arising out of Case Crime No. 1576/1994, Police Station Amethi, District Sultanpur). The trial court convicted the appellants, Dukhchhor, Vinod Kumar, and Pramod Kumar, under Section 323/34 I.P.C. and Section 3(1)(x) of the SC/ST (P&A) Act, and sentenced them to 6 months' imprisonment along with a fine of Rs. 500/- each. In default of payment of fine, the appellants were ordered to undergo an additional one month of imprisonment. All sentences were ordered to run concurrently. 4. Brief facts of the case are that,
