By means of the present petition, the petitioners seek the following prayer:- “(a) Your Lordships may be pleased to issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in nature of certiorari for quashing and and setting aside the acquisition proceedings of the land bearing Survey No. 3, City Survey No. 751 admeasuring 5535-93-75 Sq. Mtrs. of Village: Ankalav, Taluka: Ankalav, District: Anand and further be pleased declared the award dated 23.02.1982, passed by the Land Acquisition Officer, illegal and the respondents be directed to return/release the land to the petitioners with all consequential effects. (b) Your Lordships may be pleased direct to the respondents return/release the land bearing Survey No. 3, City Survey No. 751 admeasuring 5535-93-75 Sq. Mtrs. of Village: Ankalav, Taluka: Ankalav, District: Anand to the petitioners and further be pleased direct to the respondents to put the land in original position under the provisions of Section 101 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Page 1
