ODEDRA Date : 17/06/2026 ORAL JUDGMENT (PER : HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE N.S.SANJAY GOWDA) [1] Facts leading to the filing of the present writ petition are as follows:- [1.1] On 09.06.1994, the respondent Department invited applications for the post of Sorting Assistant. The petitioner herein submitted an application for the said post and having found him suitable, he was appointed by the respondent and initially posted at Yamunanagar with effect from 10.07.1995. [1.2] The petitioner was thereafter posted at several places. He also appeared in the departmental competitive examination for the post of Inspector of Posts and was selected. He was thereafter posted as a Sub-Divisional Inspector in the year 2012 and was subsequently transferred and posted to the Kosamba Sub-Division.
