The present Regular First Appeal under Section 96 read with Order XLI of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as "CPC") has been preferred by the Appellant/Plaintiff, Sanjeev Matta, assailing the Judgment and Decree dated 20.04.2024, whereby the Suit for Recovery of Rs.4,99,649/- filed by the Appellant/Plaintiff has been dismissed, by the learned District Judge, Delhi. 2. Briefly stated, the case of the Appellant/Plaintiff was that he joined the services of the Respondent Company on 05.07.1993 and continued in employment till 12.12.2003. At the time of his resignation, he was serving as Engineering Manager at the Gurgaon branch of the Respondent Company and was drawing a gross monthly salary of Rs.80,000/-. 4.
