This appeal challenges the judgment and award dated 15 th January 2024 (hereinafter referred to as the (`impugned judgment and award’) passed by Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Alibag (hereinafter referred to as `the MACT’) whereby the Applicant (Respondent herein) has been awarded an amount of Rs.2,50,000/- along with interest @ 9% p.a from the date of filing the Motor Accident Claim Petition No.27 of 2023 till realization. 2. On the date of accident, the Respondent was travelling on a motorcycle bearing registration No.MH-06-CG-3417.
