In the present Letters Patent Appeal, the appellant has challenged the final result published by the GPSC, by which three persons were recommended to the Government for appointment and two persons were kept in the waiting list. 2. Admittedly, pursuant to the interim order passed in the writ petition, the appellant had appeared in the interview, but had not secured the cut-off marks of 35.49 and therefore, his name was not found in the names to be recommended by the GPSC. The appellant, in fact, had secured only 31.78 marks.
