He was confirmed to the said post from 01.10.1975. The petitioner thereafter by an order dated 01.08.1999, was appointed as an Electrician with retrospective effect from 01.02.1990 and was paid a salary of Rs. 1,758/-. Upon attaining the age of superannuation on 31.03.2005, he was permitted to retire. (2) The petitioner during the pendency of his service, had approached the Labour Court in the year 2001.
