He stated that he was illegally terminated on 31.08.1994 and approached the Labour Court in the year 2002. The Labour Court, on consideration of the matter, came to the conclusion that, in lieu of reinstatement, it would be appropriate to award a sum of Rs. 10,000/- as lump-sum compensation. This award of the Labour Court was made in the year 2014. 2.
