(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking extension of the parole granted to the petitioner vide order dated 21.04.2026 for a further period of one month. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the petitioner was granted parole vide the aforesaid order passed in CWP-2537- 2026 and was required to surrender on or before 21.06.2026. It is contended that the Cholecystectomy surgery of the petitioner's wife is now scheduled for 27.06.2026 and in view of the said development, the presence of the petitioner would be required to attend to his wife.
