The main grievance which propelled the petitioner to approach this Court is that his application bearing CRM-265-2026 (Annexure P-3), titled ‘State of Punjab vs. Surinder Pal’, in case FIR No.241 dated 19.11.2025 under Sections 303(2), 329(3), 61(2) and 3(5) of BNS (corresponding Secitons 379, 447, 120-B and 34 IPC), registered at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur, seeking permission to visit abroad is pending consideration since 30.04.2026. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the application (supra), is required to be decided expeditiously, otherwise the sole purpose of filing the same would be defeated. 3.
