Jamia Millia Islamia (hereinafter referred to as University) seeks to question the judgment and order dated 17.12.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge, whereby W.P.(C) 1943/2016 instituted by the respondent has been allowed and the order of punishment of compulsory retirement and the charge-sheet together with the inquiry proceedings have been quashed. The respondent by the impugned judgment has been declared to be entitled for notional reinstatement up to the date of his superannuation with all consequential benefits. 2. Before we advert to the competing submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, it will be appropriate to state certain facts, which are as under: - 2.1 The respondent joined
