AARADHNA SAWHNEY, J (ORAL) By virtue of filing instant petition, petitioner has invoked jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus for release of detenue Shivani (wife of the petitioner) and daughter of Late Mahender Singh from the illegal detention/custody of respondent No.5. In compliance of order dated 12.06.2026, Warrant Officer submitted his report dated 15.06.2026. As per which, he along with the petitioner, certain other family members and a lady police official raided the house of respondent No.5 at Village Ranipur, District Yamuna Nagar where Shivani (detenue) was found present there.
