(ORAL) Present second petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short ‘BNSS’) for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No. 164, dated 05.10.2025, registered under Sections 21-B, 27-A, 61, 85 of the NDPS Act, 1985, at Police Station 'A' Division, Amritsar. 2. The gravamen of the FIR in question pertains to recovery of 204 grams of heroin alongwith ₹15 lakhs drug money, allegedly recovered from the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has iterated that the petitioner is in custody since 05.10.2025. Learned counsel has further submitted that the mandatory provisions of the NDPS Act have not scrupulously been complied with, and thus, the prosecution case suffers from inherent defects. Learned counsel has iterated that the trial is delayed and the
