The present petition has been filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (erstwhile Section 439 Cr.P.C.) seeking regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0085 dated 17.05.2025 under Section 61-1-14 of the Punjab Excise Act and Sections 123 & 62 of BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Division No.2, Pathankot. 2. The case of the prosecution is that on the basis of a secret information, the petitioner was apprehended along with 20,000 bottles (weighing 15000 ml.) of illicit liquor. 3.
