The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner alongwith one Angrej Singh @ Geji were apprehended by the BSF while they were allegedly searching for the contraband in the paddy fields. It is stated that three other persons managed to escape. Thereafter, 527 grams of heroin was recovered from the said paddy fields.
