The petitioner had filed the instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of an appropriate writ, challenging the impugned transfer order dated 08.05.2026 (Annexure P-3) whereby the petitioner was ordered to be transferred from Government Girls College, Ludhiana, to Government College, Jagroan, on the principal ground that the petitioner is on the verge of retirement and is due to attain the age of superannuation on 28.02.2027. 2.
